Research Planning Inc. (RPI) is unique among small woman-owned businesses, providing high quality international expertise in IWRM, ICM, environment, fisheries, aquaculture and food security related services for over 25 years. RPI provides coastal resource mapping, watershed assessments, aquaculture and fisheries assessment, coastal and geomorphology, sedimentology, beach erosion, hazardous substance spill response, aquatic toxicology, GIS (geospatial and geostatistical analysis, modeling, remote sensing, database design and management, Google Earth and Web mapping), marine biology, wetland science and ecology, geochemistry, and ground water work. RPI is a leader on oil and hazardous material spill science and response and to US and international agencies. The President, Dr. Jacqueline Michel, is a member of the National Academy of Science Oceans Studies Board and a Lifetime Associate of the National Academies. She is also on the Science Advisory Panel to the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy.
